3rd jersey

Time will tell. I'd MUCH prefer the Centurion myself.

I have to ask -- wouldn't the league have some rules about what name they can put on the jersey? "Sens" is not the name of the team. Would they allow "Habs" or "Pens" or "Caps" or "Canes"? How about "Blueshirts"? "Laffs"?

Seriously, there's got to be some league rules regarding the use of team nick-names.

Good point pragman. Maybe Rooney can clear it up?

Man I hope you're right... I guess the only way to check is what names are officially registered with the NHL.

EDIT: It must be registered... they've got logos with it on it already...

Sorry, I've got nothing on this one. I really hope, however, that there was some last minute legal / regulatory issue that made them remove the "Sens" logo for the old Centurion one!

But the "SensArmy" thing isn't for the NHL - it's a corporate thing. The logo on the jersey would have to be legal by NHL standards for players. This would have to be tighter.

My bet would be either the Centurion, the old "O", or a stylized version of one of them.

I don't like the O. It's too much like a big fat zero.

I've heard that, but I guess I just have a sweet spot for the vintage jerseys.
