I definitely though if markstrom. I wonder what the cost would be and would they accept korpisalo back in a trade.

Not sure Kessel helps us at all or really embodies what the team is trying to teach.
Perry does play right tho.

Agreed. Both guys would take league minimum. Need to move a goalie out if we want markstrom. Edmonton could be a player. Toronto too

I fear we're looking at a really long playoff drought. This team is horrendous

I dunno about that, Jarventie is really developing well and plays a more important position

Sure but peterka isn’t that good. Jarventie could still surpass him.

I wouldn’t be blowing anything up.
They need support, they need vets, and they need maturity.
This is a bump in the road.
It does underline Dorion inability to put together a solid team past drafting.
We didn’t need that strong a left side on D.

That can be addressed this summer.
Bring in a good steady RHD, one or two PK forwards.
Obviously it depends with who is getting shipped out

Meh I don’t think people can say Dorion didn’t build a good team given people were ecstatic about the roster going into the year and many had them in the playoffs. They just haven’t performed to expectation. If stutzle was playing up to par I think we’d be much better.

Social media and the internet has made sports so Dung now. Especially hockey. People focus way too much on the team off the ice and their “vibes” and chemistry now. Seems like Sens fans care more about players being “wholesome “ than actually winning games.

I think everyone looked at the quality of players that were brought as opposed if it would mesh as a coherent type of team.

This was the typical “throw Dung at a wall, and hope it sticks”

We all hoped chychrun could play the right side but he wasn’t brought in to do that.

This wasn’t a very well assembled team and neither was it assembled with a plan in mind.
Just a man trying to save his job.

I think the Boston/Detroit pick is 100% fair game right now. We need to move tarasenko and kubalik, and need at least two vet forwards/defensive minded forwards who can play the PK.

On the defensive side hamonic should be the first guy out and if there's a good offer for Chabot you take it

IF there’s a good offer. But with his cap hit, that’s an off-season move at best. And at his cap hit, I feel the return would be dissapointing. He’s gonna have to up his value.
