To be fair, I think there’s a lot of things about what internally happens within the team that us fans never hear about and that it’s judged it can’t be reported by media because either the people involved don’t want their name attached to it or it’s deemed that they can’t prove it.

Guys like Wallace , simmer, Yorky and company are probably privy to.

It doesn’t sound like it’s the only problem Dorion was responsible for.

Now is it really that bad to be rid of the old guard?
I’d welcome more changes linked to our scouting department.
I don’t think we were the best. Many misses.
Drafting philosophy definitely has to change.
We need more scouts in Europe. Better pro scouts.
Dorion was good at scouting but over the years he played less of a role in that department and the output was noticed.

Wallace has garbage sources and never actually says what he “knows”. He’s a hack and has a massive ego with personal agendas that cloud any opinion he has. Thank god tsn got rid of him. His fellating of the Mann brothers was all you need to know about that guy.

Yorky is good but isn’t really connected with the sens other than his brother now being a minority owner

Sens need to trade one of these core guys to take the next step. Batherson has been horrendous, ship him out and wake the other guys up

Hilarious how most fans have no idea what they’re watching or what actually happens on the ice

Batherson has been alright. Missed on some good chances but was right there.
He’ll get his goals this year.
With his contract, that’s not a guy you look to trade.

I’m not sure. He’ll definitely rrebound and always be a good player, but he always leaves you wanting more, and his defensive ability is nonexistent. I think at his salary he’d be a good trade piece unlike somebody like Chabot who might not return much due to his contract.

Maybe we can swing a deal for Huberdeau or Weegar out of Calgary.

I might listen to him if I had any faith that he could ever complete a thought or even a sentence. Talk about adult-onset ADHD.

DJ has got to go. 11 goals in something like 160 minutes playing with the goalie pulled during his tenure as coach. Absolute lowest G/60. Loser points are crucial for a team that hasn't made the playoffs in 6 years. Under a minute to go and Stutzle dumps it in then goes for a change. Dump and chase only works with the other forwards are actually sharing faster than the defenders, otherwise what's the point. Messages aren't being sent. Top line needs a break from each other.

The entire line was gassed, they needed to change. You sound like all the other online geniuses “dump and chase” “no structure”

Etsy does everyone think of the England attempted hit on Stützle? My feeling is if Timmy doesn't fall it would have been a boarding call. From the rule book:

"A boarding penalty will be assessed to any Player who checks or pushes an unsuspecting opponent in such a manner that causes the opponent to hit or impact the boards violently or dangerously."

There's nothing there about how many steps he takes (that would be charging). Timmy is turning and doesn't see the freight train until it's too late.

The accuracy of the pass from "Player #23" is pretty bad. That should have been off the boards so Stützle can take it on his back hand in full flight. Instead he has to stop and turn.

Was a clean hit for sure

You have 6 skaters to 5. The other team is just as gassed (we all know defending is harder). Are you saying there's not a higher percentage play than giving up the puck down a girl I've a minute to play?

LA was playing 1 - 3 - 1 and had been all season long. It's not a new design and good coaches found ways to neutralize it (part of the reasons Boucher is not around). Of course the players have to commit and execute, and that's also on the coach. This lineup has lost 4 of their last 5, 2 of those against Division teams. Other than injuries, have we seen anyone benched? MacEwen was sent down but that was only because they had to bring up a D to replace Zub, and not he's back up. Not that I'm saying Zack deserves a demotion but that nobody has been properly "disciplined" for bone headed plays over the last 5 years except rookies.

It's time to send a strong message or step aside and let someone else do it. Players love DJ. But this isn't house league.

I get it that they have 3 call-ups playing D. So did Boston.

You mean a "clean miss", right? If it was a hit it would have been boarding by definition.

Looks like he's breaking up the top line. Giroux will play with Jarventie.

Kelly hasn't taken a penalty in 9 games. That's a welcomed change.

Boarding is never called unless it’s from behind. There was nothing wrong with that attempt
