5mill at 4 years and we would have all been happy.

I nailed the Boro contract.

Only one I got wrong was Murray but who could have thought he was worth 2.5 million more than he is?

He was going to get 6 in arbitration according to TSN

He’s probably about 1 to 1.25 M overpaid right now. Definitely not 2.5. He’ll be overpaid in years 3-4 if he isn’t good

No, he paid for a guy who has the most Cups other than Fleury. A guy coming off a personally disappointing season where his father died. He added stability in net and he did it for a 2nd round pick and then an escalating pay for Murray.

in this climate, i don't know that many teams will pay more than 5 for Toffoli. might even have to take a one year deal. he was good in Vancouver but he had dropped off in LA. 

i'd have taken him in Ottawa but he's likely not interested in coming here.

so which top 6 guy does Ottawa land?

Anathstasiou (or however its spelled) sounds like a guy that Ottawa should target. 
Fast as hell, top6-9 guy that's capable of putting in 20+.
do we bring back Namesnikov?
Maybe Duclair circles back?

Galchenyuk could be a cheap signing.
