And I will stress again - you don't look at what is available next year when drafting this year. Rankings and team needs will change so much between now and then.
Disagree and every GM that adds draft picks to trades think long and hard about what year and round to add to the trade based upon the draft class.
Also, how much is going to change with our team in a year? Not much. It is what it is. We can’t add any franchise changing free agents or even any decent ones. What you see is what it will be next year, add one year development.
We need everything. That’s the point. I couldn’t care less that next years D look like in the draft if they love one in this draft. There will be great forwards available too if they got a high pick, but even then you can just pick another D next year too, and make trades. Position is absolutely irrelevant
