2018 Playoffs

Action gets underway on Wednesday. I don't have much interest this year, but will certainly try to watch a bunch of the games. Here's the matchups:

Winnipeg vs Minnesota
Philly vs Pittsburgh
LA vs Vegas
New Jersey vs Tampa
Toronto vs Boston
Columbus vs Washington
Colorado vs Nashville
San Jose vs Anaheim

I'll be tuning in to the Flyers/Pens and the Bruins/Leafs series. Sharks/Ducks is always good for some late night viewing.

The two hottest teams going in are probably the Ducks and Jets...here's hoping Winnipeg can go on a nice long run.

The Caps are going with Grubauer as their starter for game 1 over Holtby....

Poor Philly...perhaps starting Brian Elliott was a bad idea. Bryzgalov tweeted out during the game that he's available.

How about Marc-Andre Fleury...still got it.

Sounds like the Flyers are going to stick with Brian Elliott heading in to game 2.

Yikes. To be fair most of the goals he let in weren't his fault but either way the Flyers look doomed. A 7-0 loss or a 2-1 loss doesn't make a difference in the playoffs. Pens up 1-0 in the series. How they respond in Game 2 will be telling.
