I’m almost positive Nashville will still acquire a legit top6 player. Fiala hasn’t been anything they hoped he’d be.

Someone (maybe Bobby Mac) tweeted out yesterday that Nashville isn't done yet. They're typically pretty active, and I would expect them to make a couple more moves.

Lots of talk on the radio about Mark Stone to Flames as a rental. As a Flames fan I love the idea. As a Sens fan I hope they get him and Duchene locked up on long term deals. Having said that, if they can't get deals done I sure hope Stone lands in Calgary on or before the deadline.

hahahaha. They want to re-sign Tkachuk hence why Stone would be a rental. No room for both. First and a prospect would probably be the most Flames would give. Not even close to the current asking price from what I'm hearing though.

It may turn out to be that price considering the high asking prices out there. Not sure who would bite.
It would also have to be calgary’s Best prospect. And even then. You probably see a young player already playing in the nhl. And no Bennett won’t do it.

That deal would be pointless and a gigantic over payment. Tkachuk is younger and has more upside and is the exact same kind of heart and soul guy.

I wonder if Cheveldayoff re-circles back to see if Stone or Duchene can be had after today’s dismantling.

That’s not a game you think you’re gonna lose if you’re the jets.

Maybe they look to trade for Anderson also to back up. Can’t go into the playoffs like that

Yeah, the Jets need another goalie, holy smokes. I think Anderson could be had relatively cheap, and the upside could be great with his playoff stats.

They paid big money to keep hellebuyck but I don’t see him and Brossoit as really playoff tested.

Seems like there’s a deal to be made there.

Pretty stupid. It's giving Dorion 10 days to make arguably the two biggest trades in Sens history. This is asset mismanagement at its finest.
