That’s the only place you’re gonna hear it too.

Man how did this team go from hero to zero...

Everyone is playing like they’re afraid to get hurt it seems.

This was the best game they've played in a while. Nice to see Karlsson throw a body check. Seems like a lost art for the Sens. Anderson was really good which is a good sign.

The Ws better start flowing here soon.

I didn’t see that level of engagement. The guys aren’t brining that much physicality. Is Boro’s absence really being felt that much? It’s possible.

Duchene looked immensely releaved to get that goal. I hope it opens the floodgates for him.

The whole Nichole Anderson thing is a huge distraction for Craig. They need to stop taking about it. You’re fine now. Let it go.

I dunno. That’s a lame excuse. If he played lights out last year while she was diagnosed and treatment started, I doubt a bit of publicity this year is what is causing Andy from being on his A game.

If you plot Anderson's SV% over his career it's pretty uncanny how it goes up and down. So a down year was to be expected.

That said, his career average is .916 and over the past 5 seasons he's only below that once, with a .911. So his current level of play is likely to improve.

Nothing wrong with Anderson. Their #1 shutdown d-man is gone, Karlsson is playing semi-hurt, Phaneuf is junk, Ceci is overrated, Wideman and Boro are hurt, Oduya is 5 years past his prime, and Harpur and Chabot are rookies.

So all this to say, I don't believe depth to be as important as dressing quality players. The Sens need someone to either play with Karlsson or replace one of Ceci/Phaneuf on the 2nd pairing. It's as simple as that.

I actually thought Ryan and Smith both had really good games. It's a matter of time before Bobby gets going again. Smith is still not a top-six player but he definitely is an above average 3rd line winger. And despite Duchene's lack of scoring, he creates something every shift. He's by far the most talented player on the team. I'm happy to see him score.

Aside from goaltending Ottawa's PP is terrible. If they score 1-2 PPG a game they win a few games on this slide. Their confidence is at an all-time low. They need a win in Mtl this Wednesday or it could be the end of their season.

Anderson has been bad this season. We're giving up less shots per game. He needs to be better and he needs to focus.

I do agree that he’s not on his game.

Their pp was decent to start the year but it seems to have regressed. I’m not sure if it’s guys playing on their offside but I keep noticing guys fumbling to catch passes on the PP, definitely gives enough time for the opposition to react and position itself.
