GDT: Islanders @ Senators - Nov 25, 2017, 7:00pm Panic-button

5 game losing streak and it doesn't get any easier as the Islanders come to town for a trap game.  First home game after a road trip, back to back nights, so Condon is likely playing (which, lately, hasn't been that much of a difference, to be honest).

As much as I’m feeling pessimistic the laws of probability say we have to win one .
If they can play like they did on the third and then some we could win

We don't have enough forwards for 2 PP units, especially if they want 1D on at least the first unit.

Time to put all your eggs in one basket. EK-Stone-Hoffman-Duchene-Brassard unit 1, out there the first 45 and the last 45, if needed.

In-between have Pageau centering Phaneuf and Ryan, with Chabot and Dzingel (to recover pucks and combat breakaways) on the back end.

Don't knock it until you've tried it.

As close to a must win as we've been all season.

I forgot to record the game last night and missed the first period and most of the second. From what I saw, they were the better team in the third except for a couple of those "perfect shots". They were faster, more aggressive and I really thought they were going to win the game.

Smith is a game time decision.

Smith has missed 6. Sens have lost 5 of them.

Well that’s what you missed. Jackets were much more agressive and dictating of the play in the first 2 periods. Seems to have wore the sens. We were lucky to get goals.

So Andy gave them chance to win for 40 minutes then crapped the bed when they finally woke up and played.

That’s the only place you’re gonna hear it too.

Man how did this team go from hero to zero...

Everyone is playing like they’re afraid to get hurt it seems.
