Ah, here it is, from a Murray Pam tweet back on July 21:
GM Dorion on MacArthur's status: We hope Clarke comes back. Indications are along that way, but if he chooses not to, we'll respect that.

That's the only thing I could find.

So assuming Mac is in and no further moves are made this off-season, what does our lineup look like, where do we finish in the standings, and how far do we make it in the playoffs (if we make it)?

We finish 1st or 2nd in the division. No predictions for anything else.

Lineup when healthy:

Hoffman-Turris-Stone
Smith-Brassard-Burrows
MacArthur-Pageau-Ryan
Dzingel-Thompson-Pyatt

Claesson-Karlsson
Phaneuf-Ceci
Chabot-Oduya

That could be a crazy good 3rd line but then I'm not at all impressed with the second line. I think you switch up the venters on this lines and it looks like it should

Lines don't really matter, they'll get similar minutes

Ryan and Pageau were great in the playoffs

Agreed. If Pageau takes that step in the regular season then maybe he is our number 2 C

I feel like we've said this before.

On the topic of #2 centers, Logan Brown has looked quite impressive at the Team USA jr camp

He is a big dude 6'6" I believe). Let's see if he can stay healthy. Could be a huge year for him.

Pageau was arguably the Sens #1 C in the playoffs. He can play on any line.

I wish he could make the jump to the ahl but maybe another year in juniors is best for his development since he's had injury problems. Next year start in the A

At some point Ottawa will need to decide what to do with their centers. I imagine one of Turris/Brassard will not be with the team in two years time. If Pageau is a 2b then I'd imagine he is safe. One of White or Brown will likely be the 2C at this time - potentially even 1C depending on their development.

I also think one of Phaneuf/Ryan will be gone, Ceci will be gone, and MacArthur will have retired by then.

So in terms of Sens fans being worried about a cap issues I don't think there will be anything to worry about.

I'd keep turris over brass. I really love turris and his game still keeps getting better.

I know the org wants white to be a C but I think he still might wind up a winger.

I'd keep him over Brass, too, but keep in mind what he gets on his next contract. Over last 5 years his numbers are very close to Johansen, on a team that scored fewer goals. For sure Johansen is the better player, but Turris is more durable. He'll be a better deal, but he will still get way more than Brassard's salary.

Yup, I always said he'd get between 6-7

And keep in mind that the Sens thought Brass was the best forward analytically all season

I see Turris at $6.5M which is almost double what he made before. Again, one of Ryan or Phaneuf (or both) will be moved at some point over the next 2 years. That should help off-set some of these costs.

Who do we have to lose to move Ryan or Phaneuf?

So what do people think about a trade for nyquist? The wings are squeezed against the cap and his numbers have been down for a couple of seasons so they can't be asking for the moon. No salary going back the other way though. Maybe small salary but not much. Wideman and a pick?
