Up until the third period the Sens were keeping their shots low. Thought they might actually stay under 30. The NHL page has an empty box-score but I think they were at 18 through 2 but then were being outshot 12-3 before they tied it up. So I'm pretty sure they ended up over 30, again.

On the other hand, they have score a PP goal in every pre-season game so far (two last night).

The podcast app lets me enter a URL to add a podcast but it said the URL I entered (from Hoffside's post) was invalid Sad

The powerplay looks pretty scary. Their entrance is MUCH better with Brassard there with Turris, Ryan, Hoffman and Karlsson. I assume Brassard will move to line 2 once Stone returns, but a much more aggressive entrance instead of dumping the puck, which was a ZBad specialty.

Yeah for sure.

Il did notice that The tempo Of The game wasnt Quite up to scratch like it was in the prior game. Guess it might take a few weeks of regular season for the vets to fully embrace the tempo Boucher demands.

That's the worry though, we don't have that much time because the standings will be close.

Don't forget we also haven't seen Stone and he'll be back Friday.

Kostka/Blunden on waivers. I assume heading back to Bingo.

Also I see a "Charles Robinson -- OTT" so I guess that's it for "Buddy". Maybe he'll get a callup later this year but he seems to have plateaued.

Good. I don't see Kostka as anything special. A bingo body.
Blunden was expected.

You know what took me a while to start appreciating? That Chet Sellers and Luke Peristy podcast over on silver seven. I used to think they harped too much on the fan perspective of the negative but I've grown to like their humor. It's ether that or I'm desperate for good podcast. Which is likely true also.

Dude why don't u just go to those links and download the MP3s?  TSN1200 is stupid and only got their podcasts synced to itunes I believe.  This is waayyy easier.

EDIT: also I'm sure you can find other TSN radio audio files in a similar fashion. Bookmark the pages on your mobile and just download when they're available

For some reason when I try "http://autopod.ca/chum/22/podcast" in chrome on my phone it gives me an error stating that "autopod.ca redirected you too many times" and to "try clearing your cookies". And the URL changes to autopod.ca/accounts/login?...

Ah, ok, weird. First, I had typed "podcast" instead of the plural "podcasts". When I tried the singular case on the laptop it gave me a similar error. Then I changed to "podcasts" on my phone but still had issues. In the end I had to remove "http://" from the start of the URL and then it worked.

Sent down to Binghamton: Max McCormick (F), Nick Paul (F), Chad Nehring (F) and Chris Driedger (G).

Put on waivers: Mike Blunden, Buddy Robinson (F) and Mike Kostka (D).

Released from PTO: Matt Bartkowski (D).

they can say whatever they want about cracking a roster spot but puempel will get more than a fair opportunity to crack that roster.

Still no suprises at these names. Goodby Bart. Good luck in the AHL or Europe.

Wow, part of me expected them to sign Bart regardless. Good stuff

I was afraid of that myself. Nice to see we didn't succumb to the temptation. That said we could have used getting another stabilizing vet on the back end, maybe that's on another PTO. That said I don't see them making that move.

If I was a betting man (and I am) I'd say Chabot gets sent back before he plays more than 9 games and we will keep claesson in Ottawa

So, I caught the game in Saskatoon. It was pretty sweet. We were sitting in the second row, right behind the glass by the Leafs net (1 and 3 periods).

I was really impressed with Dzingle and, surprisingly, Pyatt. They rolled 7 D as well. Boro didn't get a lot of time out there.

I think they send him back early as well. Ultimately though they want to figure out if 12 minutes a game in the nhl is better than 20+ minutes as the guy in the juniors, while not burning off a year of elc.

A part of me wants to see him on our PP to bolster it on the 2nd unit though. Or with Karlsson. ..
