It really isn't as user friendly, I won't deny that. With a little experience you can find some "go-to" addons where you would have to worry less about the issues you're worried about.

Doesn't Game Center let you do that?
Edit: ah yes but they still won't show you the games that are local.

Does anyone know if they have upgraded their tech like Netflix has to route out people using proxies?

I'm gonna stick with streaming this year again hopefuly till my broke Donkey finishes Uni and then be a good little soldier and pay whatever I have to see the games.

I'm in the exact same boat. For all my sporting needs (World Cup, NHL, Olympics, NFL, MLB, World Jrs, etc), I think cable is still, unfortunately, the best route to go especially if you have extensive PVR needs like I do.

Have you considered OTA? Olympics should be on CTV or CBC. Between HNIC and TVA there's almost 30 Sens games. They used to have some games on CityTV didn't they? Are any other channels available OTA around here? I suppose there's nothing like have SNet and TSN.

It's not Seidenberg or Kris Russell unfortunately....all I remember of Bartkowski is him always scoring on us, so I welcome this PTO

He's actually the guy I thought they should sign.

They went with a younger option. I'm alright with that.

Nice scouting reports in general. A really good fit with Wideman, IMO. But we'll see if he gets a contract.

What? They don't show the games that are local? That can't be true...can it?

It is true. Since TSN owns local broadcast rights for Sens games, you won't get the TSN Sens games on Game Centre unless you use a VPN.

Kay, so that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. I want to buy the NHL network online, but...they won't show me my team's games. I don't know how to use a VPN, but I'd learn quick.

See...I'm pretty old school, I like the TV and the PVR and that's about as technical as I get. Streaming doesn't interest me that much. I'm gonna have to change my ways eventually, I guess.

Yes. It is ultra-dumb.

Bartkowski...not really sure what to think about that. I guess if he makes it, one of him, Boro or Wideman will sit out every game.

People don't seem to like Bart very much. Speed to burn, but nothing else. Seems fairly useless, but I'll reserve judgement.

Still very unsure why we couldn't have given a better D-man a guaranteed contract...

Why are you high on him?

My fear is that if he's too bad for Vancouver to want to keep how good can he really be?

I doubt he's good at all, but again, I know very little other than what people are saying.
