I care that we have a guy quite capable of playing on the bottom pairing and is a rightie sitting. I don't mind bringing in Borowiecki but I do mind that he is playing on the wrong side.

Boro/Prince would appear to be not playing.
Neil on the third line? Really??? Facepalm

So I'm not the biggest fan of Chiasson but he scores a goal so we put him on the fourth line. Over Neil.

I don't like what Cameron's done this season. Prince living in the dog house. How he utilizes Boro, constant shifting of lines... I just don't get what he's trying to do half the time.
It's not gonna happen but I'd be happy with us getting an experienced and winning coach to coach the sens. I was hoping Boudreaux would get fired so we could swipe him.

It's funny because most of the time I don't share their reasoning but I come to similar conclusions half the time. But they can be bull headed about the stupidest thing. It's funny how wiercioch has escaped their collective memory this year.

Don't know if you go there but speaking of the analytic community I find it really funny how the 6th sens site post very little articles when the team does well. It's like they relish every opportunity to knock the org down.

Nah.

"But maybe when you’re Bryan Murray and you’re contemplating retirement, you don’t give two Dung. You’ll continue to overpay for past production and chase name players whose best years are behind them because you won’t be the GM in a few years who’ll have to foot the bill."

He hasn't posted much since then. Maybe Dino's play has shut him up.

Am I the only one that thinks Dion will likely be an effective top 4 guy possibly till the end of his contract?
Yes, maybe overpaid, even as of right now but we are looking to have a silly D going forward in a couple of years with Chabot in the mix and if Ceci continues to progress (which he is SSF, now now, you have to admit)
I mean it's going to be mental!

Ceci is just taking credit for Dion's stabilizing presence without really getting any better. But he'll be paid like someone who has made progress, though. And then some.

But yeah, that 6th Sens post is pure piece-of-Dung material.

"Escaped their collective memory"? They are carrying him on their shoulders. Stats-wise he is second on the team only to EK. Thing they don't realize is that he's playing on the third pairing so, yeah, his offensive stats will be better. But you are not relying on your third pairing for offense. He should be on the second pairing to utilize his advanced stats but he has shown (at least this year) to not be up to the task. And on the third pairing, if you want grit and energy you're better off with a guy like Borowiecki. But just not on the right side.

They've mellowed a lot on him this year because they couldn't explain how unproductive he was when in the top 4.

Because possession is only a proxy stat for offense. And shot attempts (Corsi) is only a proxy for possession.

What the hell was Hoffman and the other forwards doing on that goal. They took off for a long change when the puck went deep into THEIR zone. Left EK ohung out to dry.
