Link? I can't find such an article.

I had it through Twitter and now can't find it at all. Dang.

Gudas will have a hearing today. Flyers don't play until Friday, what's the hurry? Unless it's because a suspension is likely and the Flyers already have a callup on D, so I don't think they have a 7th on the roster right now.

I wonder how Gudas will try to defend his actions. The puck is on the ice and the hit is almost 6' above the ice. There was no body contact, it was all arm to face. There was literally nothing about that hit that was anything to do with a hockey play.

And yet every member of the officiating crew *missed* it. I find that completely inexcusable.

You have to really question the desire to win that locker room. Its either because some of those guys just dont know how to or they dont have leadership capabilities but no matter what piece they add they dont seem to really put it together. They added some better peices via free agency the last couple of years but to no avail.

They need to move one of the big names and bring in better D and a quality leader in that room.

I wonder what Dash thinks. Sarcasm

I don't think Dash would dare say anything. If there was one time someone was ever wrong it was there.
But I'll admit that I as well thought Edm would be better by now.

This is par for the course with NHL officiating. They missed it. It happens all the time. Gudas will be suspended, probably a couple games.

The top 2 trade candidates are RNH and Eberle, according to LeBrun.

you have to think that the oil won't really have achance at getting better if they put purcell on the market.
Eberle i think is a gamble for a team. sure he's shown he can score but he's not a very physical player and probably should go to a team that has plenty of those. plus he gets injured quite a bit. buyers beware.
RNH is intriguing. Definitely a good trade chip, does ChiChi risk having another Seguin trade fiasco on his hand when he deals him? I sure hope so. Sarcasm

You have to ask yourself how much you want anyone from Edmonton. These guys are perennial losers.

definitely. i don't think just any franchise can bring some of those types of players in. I think you need a solid group of players and a core that won't be affected by it.

Three games for Gudas. Would have been fine with 5 minutes.

They do it every year. Last year it was Girgensens. The choice of John Scott, of course, is sheer brilliance, but the idea was the same.

"They" were the Latvians last year. This year it's happening everywhere!

Blackhawks have placed Tikhonov on waivers. Wow. I guess Panarin's English is good enough now?

To be honest, I love it when some flunky gets voted in to the ASG. The NHL should embrace this.
