Apart from the possibility of Hoffman having an average year or a great year depending on how is contract pans out I think this is a hopeful scenario. We have this kind of year we'll finish in the top 6 in the league as opposed to fighting it out for a wildcard spot.

Karlsson had 82 points last season, 26 of them (31%) on the PP. Doughty had 47% of his points on the PP. With the addition of a legit top-six LHS center and with the new coaching staff the PP is bound to improve. Karlsson is a much more offensive player than Doughty and plays more PP time so it's not impossible to think that he could get 47% of his points on the improved PP. If EK scores the same 56 EV points and that accounts for 53%, the total would be 105.

That said, I still think he'll be in tough to repeat his 82 points. But I welcome the potential upside

Gonna say Karlsson takes a dip this season in favor of better defence.

In DWC's defence, all of those players are capable of those numbers, so who's to say that this won't be a season where everything comes together? It may not be likely, but who cares? It's summer!

That's the thing. I have Karl coming in at at least 90... I'll work on my list and get back to y'all.

I didn't say that. There's hardly any guarantee that Karlsson will score 20.

Agreed. That's why I said five or six. He'd be the sixth. His average seems to be around 18 or 19 though the last four or five seasons, so I figured the next guy (Ryan) would likely hit 20.

I definitely put Karlsson a little high on that list but, I still expect he won't be the 6th place scorer in that list.
