Easy to convince a guy to take less on his salary if he's signed long term and they know they will be going for the cup each year.
There's nobody better out there. Most bang for the buck of anyone on the market.

Can confirm @MarkLazerus report CHI has shown interest in Spezza. May be six teams - some kicking tires. Murray will speak later. #Sens
If they can land Saad I will be a happy camper.
Some of the six kicking tires or some in addition to the six?

Of course if I'm predicting it's tomorrow then it will likely be today. I never get anything right.

Bryan called a press conference at 4. Probably just standard pre-draft stuff, but you never know. I'll be listening in for sure.
Per Dreger, Rick Curran (Spezza's rep) was on his way to the hotel for the lastest update.

DownGoesBrown is very good (for a Leafs fan). I even bought his book (Best of Down Goes Brown) for my son last Christmas. This bit (which, by the way, was *not* written by BonksMullet) was quite tepid by comparison. At the end I basically ended up thinking it was too long, whereas with some of DGB's stuff I wish there was more.

What makes you say that it wasn't written by RBM?
