There was a lot of negative things said about Turris before he got here. Similar situation in Toronto with Kadri...the coach hates him (probably race related).

That is 100% debatable. Plays harder than Spezza when it suits him is more like it.
I'm 100% surprised to hear that you'd be fine and dandy with a little rat like Kadri coming to a young, impressionable team. Granted, he would never be the captain (lol), but why would you even want to begin to go down the road of having a player like that as part of the new core. It makes no sense, it's something a less learned fan would say/want.
Kadri isn't afraid of throwing the body, gets to the net, plays as physical as he can... Spezza does none of that.
Also, where did this idea that Kadri is lazy come from? Same group of people that said Turris is lazy or? I know what I like in a hockey player, Kadri has a lot of the things I look for. I think the diving is disgusting but 1/2 the NHL does it so w/e.

Tough Dung?
My point is he might be a good return. I'd take the Berglund/Rattie/1st and take a gamble on Ho-Sang with that first.

Sportnet says the Leafs are offering Kadri for Berglund - and it makes me very scared that it could change the parameters of a deal with St.Louis to Kadri, 1st and Rattie.
I hate Kadri so much...
EDIT: It's Kypreos lol, nevermind.

Didn't you mean "I don't give a Rattie's a$$"?
I think those are two separate things. i'm sure if the right top 6 forward would come along, say shwartz then yes they'd do it. i think he's just trying to broaden the possibilities for a trade.SpezDispenser wrote:Dreger is saying Murray is allowing teams to negotiate extensions with Spezza and that they'd do a 1 for 1 for a young top six forward.
SpezDispenser wrote:First time Schwartz has become even remotely possible though. Or oshie I guess.
