It's a question of what's plan B if Lehner struggles and if there's even a market for Anderson this summer.

My guess is Anderson is with us next season but is moved at the deadline and Lehner takes over after that...

No real reason to move Anderson right now anyway. Lehner has to show that he can bounce back and Anderson has shown that he still wins more than he loses so the status quo should be good.

As long as MacLean doesn't play Anderson when he's struggling while keeping Lehner on the bench then, I suppose, you could move him at the deadline. I think it comes down to when Murray and MacLean have a sit down. If they can patch their relationship that seriously alters the landscape for all the other decisions.

So, in short, he needs to make his mind up on MacLean before any other moves are done.

Same old story with Senators. They play. They win some. They lose more. They go home. #sens #whereisthestanleycup

And my reply:

‏@MrMontagoose 3m

@SunDoniB They actually won more than they lost. But whatever. #Sens #WhereIsTheMath

I've been trying to get blocked again for a while.  Looks like he's developed tougher skin (don't remember what it took to get me blocked last time but it was *really* not much.

Methot says there are "great leaders" on the team. And they have "respect" for MacLean. UP to players to buy into system. Hmm #sens

So not everyone bought in? It's kind of "optional"?

Sort of surprising but not really.

We've all watched the games and seen who bought into the system.

Hemsky "I want to keep my options open" ,,, "we will see what happens" .

Sounds like Hemsky is going to test free agency.

Same as Bobby Ryan will when the time comes. No biggie.

Bobby will re-sign in a few weeks. It's very rare that a rental acquired at the trade deadline re-signs before July 1.

I don't believe they he can resign until July 1st. Can't even have official talks until then.

I think by July 2nd it'll be officially known that young Ryan intends to "test the waters."

Don't blame him considering we missed the playoffs and he hasn't been here long.

with or without Spezza I never thought he was going to come in and be the RW the team needed and wanted.  Need a Chris Stewart a lot more than they need a Hemsky.

Sure you can, Malkin did it last year

Spezza says he could see himself as a Senator long term but needs time to reflect before thinking about a new contract. Has no trade clause.

Not exactly a ringing endorsement.

Guess he did, weird how all the media is saying nothing can happen til July 1st, besides unofficial talks.
