I agree with you on this.

I simply don't get how Murray couldn't have gotten ANY asset for him. A late pick, anything...

Looks so bad on him for that trade...

Room for Cammelleri money wise? What the heck is the reasoning? I don't get it lol!

the reasoning is he's Dung and they can send him to Bingo

Yep, but I was one of the few that at the time said Andersson would have been better to trade.  You would have got more and the upside of Bishop was evident at that time.  Not hindsight, and while i never said it was horrible I never liked it.

trading your #1 goalie when you're going for the playoffs makes no sense

Pretty much. Maybe there's a guy coming in via trade, or maybe it'll just make room for Kassian/another call-up.

Also, by sending Conacher down, they won't have to pay him NHL dollars. He'll make $54K versus $871K.

meh, he wasn't bad enough to be waived and exposed to other teams. There were positives to work with IMO.

That said, we have better options internally and hopefully this $$ goes towards someone better.

maybe not, but you can't say that bishop or lehner were playing poorly...in fact they both carried this team for a long stretch while Anderson was out. So it makes more sense than you think.

Bishop was always going to be the odd man out. I'd still take Anderson over him for this squad as I think Bishop is playing over his head, and is already falling back down to earth.

It doesn't look that bad. You're not going to win every deal.

Anderson was setting a modern day record for best save % in a season. Trading him would've been lunacy, as he was the team's best goalie. Don't forget how incredible he was last year....

Mike Weaver apparently heading to Montreal. Not sure who that is, but a trade apparently is happening.

People always think guys on waivers will be claimed. I wouldn't be surprised if Conacher is claimed, but then again, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets to Bingo either.

Clearly no team wanted him for even a late pick.

Seriously. Who doesn't know Mike "Dream" Weaver?!?!?
