So I've given the guy like 40 games but Conacher has to be the most useless player in the world, lol.

Down to 5D, paying second game in 20 hours. Cowen has been brutal but has not been sat out, or have his ice time reduced or even a stern talking to at practice. I don't get it.

Anyhow, Ward was lights out in the first and I figured we would have to win this one 1-0. Don't think we're coming back in this one.

Westgarth should have been given 5 and a game, it was a no-brainer decision. Guy is vulnerable, down on the ice and trying to get up, and he drives his knee right into his behind with full force. It's only a neck strain -- but when you get a neck strain on a hit from behind that's almost a broken neck. They should throw the book at him, then pick up another couple books and throw those as well. And then they need to fine the refs that let him stay in this game.

He's been a lot better since the goal where he let Lindholm walk in and score. He's challenging shooters now.

He literally skates up and down the ice, that's it. No effect on games, just a player they plug in. They had to trade Bishop for sure and if that was the best return they could have received so be it but Conacher is barely an NHL player and that's being generous.

Would also do just about anything to get Kassian out of Vancouver to play wing in Ottawa.

What a wasted opportunity.
