Ugh, Twitter... the device that will ruin more careers and peoples lives than anything in history. People shouldn't have a platform to be stupid.

Yeah, looks like those tweets were deleted. Must have gotten a call from Sponsor Relations.Ev wrote:http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2013/10/01/erik-karlsson-bell-service_n_4025815.html?utm_hp_ref=tw
Worked for Georges Laraque...tim1_2 wrote:Karlsson is right. Bell sucks. He should switch to TekSavvy.
Two has-beens (well, one of them at least).SpezDispenser wrote:Kevin Weeks ranks the Anderson/Lehner duo as the 2nd best in the NHL behind Lundqvist/Biron and Jamie McLennan also ranks them 2nd, behind Schneider/Brodeur.

Condra-Pageau-Greening played well in last year's playoffs. I assume that is why McLean has them as they are..DefenceWinsChampionships wrote:Why are people complaining? Because our 4th line center is too good for 4th line duties? Neil is also too good to be a 4th liner and Smith is too good a center to be playing on the wing on the 4th line.tim1_2 wrote:There's no other Cussing choice at this point! These lines should surprise absolutely nobody. We knew the top line was going to be the Big Three. We've known the second line for about a month...so it's just the bottom two lines that'll be fiddled with at this point. ZERO SURPRISES.wprager wrote:Why is Pageau getting the Z-Bad treatment? Sens lines: Michalek Spezza Ryan; MacArthur Turris Conacher; Smith DaCosta Neil; Condra Pageau Greening Kassian as extra forward

Methot-Karlsson, Cowen-Wiercioch, Phillips-Corvo. Gryba extra. #Sens D
Ottawa has three legit lines and a fourth line that can grind out goals and create offensive chances. For games where Kassian is dressed, scratch Da Costa and slide Smith to the middle between Kassian and Neil. That line instantly turns from a hybrid line to an energy line, and the toughness Da Costa doesn't bring is completely addressed. I'd imagine they do the same with Corvo and Gryba.
If people are worried about team toughness Neil, Kassian, Gryba, Smith, Greening, Methot, and Cowen can all fight. So can Lehner.
Seems to be a recurring theme with Ottawa. Clouston was the master of the line shuffle.NEELY wrote:Well that and the top 2 lines are set but you can pretty much bank on the lines being shuffled about 1/2 through the first against Buffalo. Kind of kidding but not really.
You're being overly optimistic at 4-1-1. 3-3 is what I'm expecting, but hoping for a 3-2-1.DefenceWinsChampionships wrote:So what are we thinking of the Sens 6 game road trip?
I am not sure if I am being overly optimistic but I am thinking 4-1-1 is reasonable with OT loss to Toronto (back to back and Toronto at home) and a loss against LA.
I can also see Ottawa splitting 3-3 or even coming out 5-1. Really need to make a statement tomorrow against Buffalo
Even implying MacLean and Clouston in the same sentence should never happen.tim1_2 wrote:Seems to be a recurring theme with Ottawa.
