Team Canada 2014 -- who will be on it?

Just throwing it out there, but this whole insurance dealio for players trying out for the olympic squad may have had something to do with spezza? anything? I read somewhere because of it, some players would be forced to only an off-ice evaluation at camp because insurance costs were too high, but I don't know if it's TC that has to pay or the players

At the end of the day Spezza is gonna be pissed and he's gonna be excellent for the Sens and that's what we should care about. Any Sens fan disappointed in this should reevaluate their priorities.

Yup, hope Anderson gets cut as well.

Who are the American goalies? Quick and Anderson I assume? Doubt Anderson gets cut unless I'm missing someone. Howard rounds out the three?

If Cory Schneider steals the N1 job in NJ he might go.

The Americans, sadly, have more of a goalie controversy than us. I would take Anderson over pretty much any other goalie in the universe right now.

Don't know about that... only goalie I would take over Anderson right now (at least think about) is Quick... tough call there.

Quick, best goaltending performance of the season was rounds 1-3 for the Kings and he just won a cup the year before. IMO best goaltender on the planet with Anderson being closely behind right now.

Will Anderson ever play that way again? That's the question. I'd lean towards no but expect him to e in the .920 range.

Maybe, maybe not but being pushe my Lehner will force him to be great or he won't be in the net. I think Anderson keeps his play up for one more season and if healthy he will be a Vezina finalist. He would have ran away with it this year. If I was building a team for the next 5 years though I would take both Lundqvist and Rask, right now and tomorrow I wouldn't.

Pretty much. I think the job is Quick's to lose. He's the guy with the Cup ring who seems capable of elevating his game when the stakes get bigger.

Meh, Luongo won it last time with decent goaltending, no reason why they wouldn't this time around either. I think Sweden is the fav going in because of the ice, goaltending, and just solid complete players throughout the lineup.
