I would've taken Giroux over Benn, Carter, Duchene, Marleau, and Nash.

Something to say about Marleau's in-season performance... same for Benn. They played their way on to the team.

All in all, pretty strong team. I'd say canada and sweden are the deepest of the lot. USA and Russia are pretty tight. Finaland and czech republic are a joke. My darkhorse pick is slovakia. Think they take the bronze.

Gotta feel bad for St Louis. Nobody wants to win more than him.

The Couture absence is weird. I was under the impression that they could name an injured player, and then replace him pre-tournament if he wasn't ready..? Seemed like there was almost an advantage to naming an injured guy.

I wouldn't call Finland a joke, especially with Rask in net. Also have no idea how you can call the Czechs a joke.
