Little doubt David Clarkson will get a 7 year term. Some gm's think he will get $6 mil or higher per.
That is absolutely nuts! No way should he get 6 mill for 7 seasons.

Much has been made of Clarkson's perceived lack of production in the playoffs...but in his last playoff appearance with the Devils, he had 12 pts in 24 games. Not too shabby. Before then, his role wasn't nearly what it is now.

We got a day off in lieu of a bonus so I've decided to finally do my taxes. Finding it hard to concentrate, though, and it's not even 12 yet.

This is a piss-poor day to decide to do your taxes on.

Yup, Berry playing everyone likes fools. Just doing his job I guess even though people continue to fall for it, even Ottawa's own media.

Already talk of offer sheets among teams with space. Pietrangelo, Bogosian, Little, Bailey, Henrique, Hamonic...

I'll take a little bit of Bogo.

I hate doing taxes even though I get $$ back. It's really demoralizing when it's in-your-face how much you have given to those morons. My father-in-law didn't finish highschool but still ended up with a job which allowed him to come home for lunch, raise five kids in a small house, and go on a family vacation to Ocean Park (Maine) every year. And his wife mostly stayed home. We've got two good salaries but still have 10 years to go before we are mortgage free, and even when the mortgage is paid we would still be paying probably over $700 a month in residential taxes (that's assuming the assessments keep going up just 5% a year -- they've been going up 7% for the last 10).

I hate agents. The whole idea of them. Almost as bad as lawyers and taxes.

Wait a minute ...

You're under 40, right? My son is 16. He thinks paying taxes is great, too.

If you're not voting Liberal when you're 20 you've got no heart. If you're not voting Conservative by the time you're 40, you've got no brain.
