that could make sense if we can add a second rounder.NEELY wrote:wprager wrote:Rumours of Sens and Flames trade. What would it cost to go from 17 to 6? Wiercioch and?
Maybe the Sens moving back to 22, not moving up to 6th... if that's the case then you are looking at this years first rounder, next years first rounder as well and probably Wiercioch.

ALfredsson contracts talks described as productive. Expected to resume today. Both 1 yr and 2 yr options discussion by Murray and JP Barry.
go for two!!!

Cronie re-tweeted someone who said "Western" team. Then of course every one assumed he saw the trade board picture with San Jose but he said Calgary.
Calgary has 3 1st round picks. It would make sense that they'd be willing to make a trade. But #6 -- have to admit -- unlikely.
any chance he he hammers out a 2 year trade (6 mill, then 4 mill) and then retires after one year. we'd be stuck with his 4 mill on the cap i guess but without having to pay it right? that might suit melnyk's budget planSpezDispenser wrote:Flo The Action wrote: Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger 10m

I told anyone who would listen it would be 2 years, 10 million (my guess).

Radek Bonk's Mullet @BonksMullet
Asked what he did to earn $750,000 more than Karlsson per year, Kris Letang simply pointed at Marc Andre Fleury.

A PPG winger with $5 x 5 left on his contract? It would take a bit more than a 3rd and a top-end prospect.
