I really thought Bogo would one day choose to play in Ottawa but with all this nickel and dime budget crap I no longer "dare to dream."

You know, all this talk about something happening, how he felt ownership was not willing to improve the team (which is BS -- how about you don't demand . $5M+ salaries so that the cheapest tickets in the nosebleeds don't cost $40 plus parking and families with kids can actually afford to watch a game) -- thing he is forgetting is that the team, the fans, the city -- all of these are still going to be here long after the players *and* ownership moves on. It may have been Melnyk who was signing his checks but it was the fans who were paying for his house, and cars, and trips, and big, fat bank account. He was a 6th round nobody when he came to this city, and he was adopted into the family. And not a peep, not a tweet, nothing. He'll be on the phone to talk to the Detroit media in a little over a half hour, but he's said nothing to us.
