Even if they do land Hemsky somehow I would still be in the market for a guy like Cammalleri simply because they need that LH shot. If you could but a pure sniper on the wing (Cammalerri) with Spezza and Hemsky and then have a 2nd line of Alfi/Turris/Michalek and a 3rd line of Zibanejad/Siflverberg with perhaps anyone of Conacher/Hoffman/Noesen/Stone or some dark horse like Prince or Peumpel then you have a ton of scoring depth up and down that lineup. 4th line of Neil/Pageau/Condra... maybe Greening depending on how things shape out. Even DD can't be over looked for that 4th line and could be a better fit than Greening.
Either way, the Sens need at the very least 1 top 6 winger and probably 2. Cammalleri and Hemsky would add a ton of depth in terms of scoring, the PP would be instantly better, and they wouldn't be holding the bag for a ton of cash outside of this year and if things work out then they can resign them. If they need to give up some draft picks next year or the year after in the 2nd or 3rd rounds, then so be it. Time to take a swing because there will be prospects ready to step up for years to come now.
