probably not, no... not if they feel he isn;t NHL ready. They made the deal for Turris because they knew he was NHL ready and fit the need of the organization. Filatov was an example of taking a shot and hoping for the best but that didn't work out because the Sens didn't think he was NHL ready and needed time in the AHL which he didn't want any part of. If Niederrider isn't NHL ready or the Sens don't feel he is NHL ready it's just the Filatov situation all over again... if they think he is NHL ready and are going to let him play in the NHL even if other prospects are knocking on the door then make the move.
It isn't anything like Rundblad because he was in the SEL, developing, and was perfectly fine and happy playing in Sweden. Neiderrider isn't anything like that for the simple fact he wants to be in the NHL and won't be happy otherwise... the team doesn't need that. If it's a Turris situation (which it isn't) then give it a whirl. Fact is Turris had an outstanding playoff the year before being moved and was bogged down by a trap first, play the vets type of team.
