This probably had a lot to do with the team building around Spezza going forward.  He's the captain now, he's the franchise center, and Clarkson will be coming in to flank him on the wing.  Clarkson better be worth the legacy of Alfie because that's the trade off at this point.

This is exactly how I feel too.  This is a team that is on the rise and actually IMO is probably better than Detroit.

My decision to continue following the Sens will be in Murray's hands today. If we're the northern Panthers, time to move on perhaps start supporting my local team. I became a Sens fan by living in the Seaway valley for 7 years. I've been in Pittsburgh for 4......
