I literally wouldn't do anything else this summer other than hunt for a good fit for our top line wing position. Nothing else needed really.

No Michalek, Greening or Alfredsson on the ice again.
Hopefully just maintenance...

Same as before Game 3. No Condra either.

Heard a lot of discussions about the Condra cross-check to the head of Subban early in G3. I was a little surprised how many people saw that as a missed call by the refs. Subban did one of his flying-a$$ hits and, IMO, deserved what he got -- which was not much, really; just a fairly stern warning to not do it again (and he didn't -- good boy).

But now I am a bit worried that a similar play will end up being called. That Gregson will have a talk with the refs before the game and instruct them to call it much tighter early on, especially hits to the head. What happened to Conacher at the end doesn't mean that the Sens are owed one (or few), but could very easily mean that head shots of any kind will be called much tighter -- for both teams.

Need to stay out of the box.

Yes, staying out of the box will be huge. Don't get involved in shenanigans, and don't do anything stupid in scrums. Punish Montreal with hard clean hits, and let them take retaliation penalties.

We can beat 'em 5 on 5.

PMac was not at the morning skate. Wonder where he went? Maybe to the secret underground skating rink where Spezza was practicing. Alfie has missed his second morning skate in a row (which, apparently is uncommon). Swirlominoes.

Attending classes on 'being classy'.

Alfie isn't getting any younger. Rest is paramount at this point. Not sure about Condra and Greening I imagine they are banged up.

It's definitely not a secret underground rink where Spezza is practicing. We took little Abby to SBP yesterday afternoon to buy her some playoff stuff and lo and behold, behind the mesh metal gates of the Sens Store you could see Spezza taking passes, skating around the rink, stick handling etc. Not sure how long away he is, but he's out there (alone mind you with a coach).

PMac confirms that Gryba is in, no other changes.

Yeah TSN showed video of him skating. He looked pretty good, it definitely wasn't recreating skating laps around the rink for sure.

He still might be weeks away, hard to say.

Yeah, I was gonna say he looked like he was literally weeks away. Next round if we make it - mid round I would say.

The fact that Spezza has been skating and working out on back-to-back days without having setbacks is encouraging. I would say mid-next-round if we're there.

I believe it is lower-body, but that's all we'll find out for now.

Prust looks like a proper little lady in this series so far. I've lost so much respect for him it's not even funny.

No Ryan White or Brian Gionta for the Habs tonight.
