Because he's a really solid offensive player and a guy that can dish the puck. Sens are trying to build a team with a ton of skill and he has a ton of skill. Injury prone, I agree but still a player the Sens could use. Pretty consistent with his production as well and would work well with a shoot first center in Turris.

I think Ottawa wants to find a way to put on 3 scoring lines and 1 line that's tough as hell to play against... seems the way they are being built.

Also, I legit heard from a Murray that they are interested in Hemsky and have been for years.

I wouldn't complain if we acquired him, but we should approach with caution. We already have Michalek whose pretty injury prone as well.

Clowe's having a terrible season...6pts (all assists) in 20 games. So I would only sign him this summer if we feel he can turn it around for some reason. He's been declining, so I dunno.... I would sign him if he was going to be our 3rd line LW.
