Yup, he would be pretty ideal if they want to make a run next year. Would cost Bishop and Weircioch I would bet but yah, expect some rumours about him to be started up in the near future towards the deadline.

Hemsky has one more year @ $5M. His production hasn't been great this year or last, but it's not terrible either. I assume the asking price wouldn't be too great given the drop-off in production.

Hemsky would look good lining up next to Spezza and Michalek.

That would have been my assumption but people pay ridiculous prices at this time of years. Except for Boston who have top-6 forwards fall on their laps for FREE!!! Dammit!

There was a deal in place for him a couple years ago apparently and it involved Ottawa's 1st rounder and a lower tier roster player.

Either way, they will try and make a deal for him but I think he's injured right now again.

Hemsky is the kind of guy we could use, but no one wants an injury riddled player. If you do, try to grab Andy Mac or Bouchard and take a chance. The price would be a lot less.

yeah actually I really don't care to get Hemsky. the guy could fall off in production and could spend the whole year injured. not worth the chance if you ask me.
