Sens are starting to get too many bodies in the fold. Unless Stone comes right in and produces I would guess he will be sent back down once another healthy body comes back into the fold.

Fixed that for you lol.

Switch Dizzy and Greening, and that's actually not such a bad lineup. At least you have a few lines that look like they should be able to score.

I'm hearing rumblings that Latendresse "is apparently back." I'm not sure if that means he's just skating or he's ready to play again, but there it is.

The lines posted were the ones in practice today and Latendresse is indeed skating with Daugavins and OBrien (who leads the forwards in goals and will sit? scratch

They might not want to trade anyone with all the injuries.

How many goals does JOB have to score to stay on the roster LOL.

Yah, not really sure what else JOB has to do to keep his roster spot but I can see the need to have Regin in there right now... need a bit of skill up the middle right now which JOB does not provide.

That's a good question. Maybe you sit Smith for JOB, because Smith has not been great recently. Guy needs a little of the Greening treatment, methinks.

Holy Dung.

1.Latendresse perhaps returning soon is great!

2.Michalek perhaps returning soon is great!

3.Diddle a doodle doo - O'Brien can't possibly do anything else to stay in the lineup, can he? Man...pretty frustrating.

I think they just want Regin in there to see if he can actually get going a little. The know what JOB is and he can do his job as the 4th line center. Regin it's Dung or get off the pot time for sure and they are gonna let him take a dump if he can.

I think Regin's cemented himself in Ottawa. Perfect player for Mac - and it's pretty obvious that Mac loves him. Yes, offense would be great from Regin, but he does a lot out there, speed, skill, defensive plays.

I guess someone had to sit other than Daugavins...DD should probably really relish NHL life right now, because he'll likely have to go down soon to make room.

And yes, I love Daugavins, but I think we might have to move him or even waive him - which sucks a little, but what can we do.

Daugavins is a very replaceable player and he's been replaced by DD.

He is replaceable, yes. The wheel keeps turning though, DD can't stay around on a 2 way, so he'll have to go back down as well.

We'll see but it's going to be hard to send him and Gryba down once bodies start coming back. Daugavins could very well be dealt in a bigger package because the Sens need to clear a roster spot but we'll see how it all plays out.

Chances are though you're right and just because of his contract DD will be sent back down but they now know what they have in the minors.

Latendresse didn't have a contact jersey on so he is getting closer but probably a ways away.

If they can deal Daugavins they probably will do it, otherwise DD can go down knowing he'll be back up ASAP so no biggie.

Gryba is the only one not going anywhere since EK is gone for the year.

Yeah, can't see Gryba going anywhere and I agree, DD will be told that they like him and he'll be back. He was truly a fun player to watch up here.

Another candidate to go down is Zibanejad, but I think he's really shown lately that he can play in this league.

Gryba has been impressive, struggled the last couple games but fantastic overall. The need for the RHD was so huge and they got lucky in Gryba.

It will take him a few years to find that consistency they want from him but he's been pretty good since being sat. Gotta keep rolling with him because at this point he's not hurting because he's in the NHL right now.

He's shown he can score a little. Mind you, DD is our scoring him if you normalize to the number of games played. Outscoring everyone, I'd think.

I'd like Turris and Smith to sit a game, and use Regin and DaCosta at center.

Turris is trying out there. He is just unlucky and obviously not ready to fill a #1 role (if ever). I think he still needs to hit the gym in the summer, he still looks weak out there(although way better than last year).
