Memorial CUp MVP at 16 doesn't hurt either...

the second i saw we signed latendresse I knew it was going to be a failed experiment. out of principal we shouldn't even touch players the habs had in the Gainey/ the ghost era. Well it's not like he can tweet youtube links of all the goals he is scoring. He had that nice pass to Turris for a goal.
I don't think he is fit to play MacLean's system, the slowest backchecker we've iced this year. I figured he's like Butler or Filatov, 2 guys who were either injured or floated around instead of playing hard. They were quickly banished to the pressbox/AHL/KHL etc.

I mentioned the Bishop to CBJ. When Jarmo was hired as GM. Drafted Ben in St Louis. BM dealing in a position of strength.
Interesting point by Simpson about the Bishop/Jarmo/CBJ connection.

Definitely a possibility. I'm surprised Colorado isn't pushing for bishop in a deal for ROR considering bishop is from Denver.

They blew a first round pick for Varlamov. I think they'll fall on their sword there.
They have no defense and no PMD (cept prospects Barrie and Elliott who are just starting out). I don't think EJ is quite all he was hyped out to be either.
It'd have to be Wiercioch or Cowen going the other way for starters.

Really depends on the offer at this point. Bishop is amazing insurance for us right now.

Don't even think you need a RHD out of Columbus but they do have 3, 1st round picks. I think they roll the dice with Gryba because he looks like a solid 3-6 D man and all he has to do is be solid. No point in giving up an asset for a player you already have. Just gotta keep developing them down in the AHL.
IMO if a move is ever made with Columbus (which I think it will be) it will go down like this. Mason will be traded for a 4th or 5th round pick, Columbus will then flip LA's 1st for Bishop. Something along those lines.
