Not in the same ballpark. Markov is a nice player, but the same applies. There's no one who's in Karlsson's ballpark right now IMO.

I've always considered Enstrom to be Karlsson-lite. Pierre "Penguins Mancrush" McGuire thinks Letang is like Karlsson but more physical. So, I guess, better than Karlsson Farter

Yeah, Letang is really, really good. Not sure he can bring the offense as consistently as Karlsson, but I guess it's close enough.

Letang's offensive output is largely due to Crosby and Malkin. If Karlsson played with those two he could very well lead the *league* in scoring.

Stop posting when you obviously don't watch the team in question. You said Crosby wasn't as relentless and aggressive as before for christ sake. Letang is not as good as Karlsson but plays a similar style, more edge though.

Whoa! What does my take on Crosby's aggressiveness have to do with how Letang is benefiting from playing behind the two top centers in the world? Even if he's not as aggressive as before, Crosby is better than any of our centers. Same for Malkin. If you don't think Karlsson would put up better numbers playing on the Pens then I don't know what to say.

Niskanen and Letang activated from the IR. Head-to-head, Letang vs. Karlsson.

Because your opinion of Letang is also off-base. Their team isn't as great as it can be when Letang is out of the lineup, especially the PP.

Letang's numbers would be the same on any team IMO.

Yep I'd have to agree, he would still produce a lot. Probably not as much points but he would still produce a lot. Not "largely" due to Crosby and Malkin.

Key tonight will be taking the crowd out of the game early. Hopefully they can get a quick one and really play a sound defensive game and Anderson can shut the door when needed.

If I had to guess though, might be a 3-1 win for the Pens... I hope I am wrong. If the Sens win it will be something like 4-2.

I think the Sens look good so far. They certainly look like a different team than the one that played so poorly against Winnipeg. Greening made nice play at the Pburgh line a couple shifts ago.
