Who the Diddle cares what label we put on Mac. He can play on any of our lines, the PP, and the PK. Also, he's not practicing yet, so a return is far off anyway.

I'd agree that 105 points in two seasons works out to a top-6 player.

I wonder how long...

Probably a month, if I was to totally guess. Gotta be 100% free of symptom, then workout and skate hard and still be 100% free, then practice, then get on the team. Maybe more than a month.

He's skating and shooting, just not involved in full-contact drills.

But regardless of how long it will take before he can play, the bigger question is how long he could play before he got another concussion. You could argue that last year he came back too soon, and got re-concussed on a very harmless play. But after that he shut it down for a good 10 months before resuming full contact in training camp. And while Sieloff's hit was harder than what got him out last time, I think we can all agree we've seen harder hits happen with regularity during the regular season.

MacArthur would get concussed in an outdoor game if it got windy. I am not counting on more than a handful of games from him if that.

And when we miss the playoffs the org will use it as an excuse as to why they didn't try and upgrade his position. "We thought he'd come back!"

Lazar with the PP winner late in the game for Bingo tonight. Perron with their other goal.

Interesting note from Dorion (don't have the exact quote) -- essentially makes it sound like he's down there for a while. They want him to play in all situation (last night he was on for the PK goal against as well as the PP goal for) and he's not going to get that in Ottawa. They didn't draft him mid-first round to be a 4th line grinder and to pick hamburgers off the ice. If he can re-acquire some offense to be a third-liner to replace Smith (eventually) that would be pretty much the best we can hope for at this point.

Perron with 2+2 in his first four pro games. Not bad. Leads the team in scoring (Lazar and Bailey are next with 2 goals, no assists).

He fancies himself the next Mike Hoffman Smile

Interesting goalie battle in Bingo. Granted, it's early, but after 4 games both goalies have 2 starts and both have great save percentages (.945 for O'Connor and a whopping .961 for Driedger).

He's gonna be the same exact story as Hoffman, minus the waiving. He'll tear up Bingo, get the call and slowly establish himself as a sniping top 6 winger. You can take that to the bank. Ahhhhh!

Both of this is pleasing to see.

Exactly what we've been saying on here since the off-season. Go down, get some serious experience on the top line, kill penalties, play on the PP and score some goals. KK is a great teacher too - this couldn't have worked out better.

Wow, didn't realize O'Connor was killing it too, I knew Dreidger was, but that's great!

Sounds familiar to what I was saying days ago... some never listen. Sarcasm

Urgh... don Brennan. Speaking of that idiot. He's got an article in the sun website a couple days ago already flaming the fire that's Boicher's system might not be adequate and he should think of adopting another. He goes on to mention that he'll look stupid in saying so if the sens win against Vancouver with a very low shot count.... yes Brennan, if only that was the only thing that made you look stupid. Well, at least it did.

He's almost on a Damian Cox level of stupid.

That article was from a while back. I just posted it for the comments from Perron himself.

As for Brennan vs. Cox, that's a hard one. I feel Brennan is just a local village idiot while Cox has the platform to really stand out nation-wide. So he's the Country Idiot.
