I think MacArthur is inching towards a return so there may not be a call up at all.

How great will it be to have him back playing hockey with the Sens? His return will solidify the lines so much. I can't wait.

It's a whole new dimension for our lines.  Smith back with Pageau, Dzingel on the right side, or Pyatt?  Doesn't even matter.  The 4th line gets a kick, the 3rd line gets a kick, the 2nd line gets a kick and by default the 1st line gets more room.

Isn't young Dzingel more comfortable on the left? He shoots left.

Someone has to play on their off-wing, what can we do.

Guys. He's barely played any hockey in a year. I wouldn't jump to any conclusion about how much better we will be.

I dunno...once he's cleared, he's cleared. He'll be an impact player.

I think those are your general expectations.

No. Saw at least one (Scanlan?) mention that he expected Lazar to join the team today.

He was a third-liner before he came here, had one good season his first time out with Turris, didn't really come close to that in his second season, was shuffled around, then has been battling concussions ever since. He is pretty far removed from being a top-six player right now.

You're a third liner.  :crossarms:

MacArthur has never been a third line player - unless it's by semantics. He's a top 6 through and through.

He played third line in Toronto.

He mostly played 3rd line in Buffalo and Atlanta as well.

he was a top six player before reaching the Sens. He had 62 and 43 points in his two years in Toronto

Who the Diddle cares what label we put on Mac. He can play on any of our lines, the PP, and the PK. Also, he's not practicing yet, so a return is far off anyway.

I'd agree that 105 points in two seasons works out to a top-6 player.

I wonder how long...

Probably a month, if I was to totally guess. Gotta be 100% free of symptom, then workout and skate hard and still be 100% free, then practice, then get on the team. Maybe more than a month.
