ya that might be best for hoffman. the kind of guy that plays bottom 6 but once he gets more comfortable can contribute offensively.

I have to say as frustrating as he is on offense, he's a gem on PK. But putting your fastest forward on the PK is pretty much hockey 101 or should be anyway.

He's as good as any PK specialist on any team, not like he's top 10 or anything.
Hoffman is also a hell of a PKer who has twice the hockey sense and offensive touch.

Totally disagree... I think that's his biggest fault, lack of it. Has speed, has a shot, has hands, not a lot of hockey sense.

Don't worry, he's coming. Same as DaCosta. It all depends on injuries, hes too small to play hurt.

We'll see. I'm not a huge Hoffman guy but I am of the opinion he has earned an extended look and can do more than Conacher on an every ay basis.

If he does nothing you can say that he does as much as Conacher, at least.

Also has to do with defensive play though.
He will get a shot soon, though. If it's not with Ottawa it's with somebody else.

It appeared to be a lack of hockey sense last time he was up, but he didn't get much playing time.

Sure I can... I think in the current role Conacher is playing in Hoffman is a better option despite what I believe he lacks. I think Conacher is an awful NHL hockey player.
