This will blow up, this is what Fehr wants, one big legal fight against a pro sports league before he retires for good.

I think some of you watch too many movies and TV shows haha. Don't take this stuff so seriously.

So NHLPA did not file it's DOI last night... talks went late and will continue this morning at 10:00am.

NHL has two schedules ready -- a 52-game schedule beginning on Jan 12 and a 48-game schedule beginning on Jan 19.

Sounds like the NHLPA is asking the players to quickly re-vote on the DOI filing. Since they passed their internal deadline, they feel a need to re-vote for some reason.

Also, the cap floor has come up as an issue between owners. Teams don't want it to go up too much as many can't afford to even spend to the floor with the new rules.

This is where I am with the players. Too FU****** BAD!

I'm not sure how many teams "can't afford" to spend to the floor. I'm sure many don't want to spend to the floor, though.
