I think 5 on 5 can be handled by a combination of an additional amount of ice to Cowen + Phillips + Boroweicki. 5 on 5 I'm less worried about that putting forwards on the point of a PP. That's what I'm talking about, right there. How Cussing sweet would it be to see that man hoist the cup.

If the Sens have another solid season this year and make a little noise and Alfi plays like he did last year, there is nothing to say he doesn't come back after this season as well. I think the odds of him playing 2 more years are just as good as him calling it quits right now.

The guy has game left and if the kids can give him that little jump in his step the next year or two, things in Ottawa will be great.

I think he can play 2 more as well. Even if the 2nd year he's playing 13 minutes a night including PP1, the guy still has a major impact on the game. We'll see, but I wouldn't rule that out.

If I had to place a bet, I'd say The Alfie retires this off-season, but I really hope I'm wrong.

I will never actually bet on The Alfie retiring. I would hate to benefit in any way from The Greatest Hockey Player Who Ever Lived and Will Ever Live's retirement.

a roster or near roster player

IF there's a 4th item it's a B prospect to outbid others(let's say Greening).

And yeah it'll be Lehner not Bishop(if one of our goalies is traded).
