Well, I'm convinced. This EDM troll, who probably doesn't watch the Sens or games in the East, clearly has it all figured out. Glad we settled that issue so quickly.

I'm impressed at his combination of depth of argument and brevity.

Depends on who we play. We match up quite well vs the Rangers IMO. The difference is obviously Lundqvist, but we've shown we can beat him this year (2 out of 3 games).

If it's Boston, we're in trouble, I'll admit to that.

If it's Florida or Washington - we also matchup well against those teams.

If it's the Pens, we're in trouble, I'll also admit that.

So where is the 4 game sweep in that? If the Sens play Boston or Pittsburgh, I can see us bowing out in 5 or 6, but where's the sweep coming from?
There's no need to respond to trolls, unless it's Neely. Sarcasm
Hes from our sim league so they know each other, otherwise I would agree with you.

I agree. Which is why it's equally fair to say that Hall, RNH, and Eberle are all categorically busts, now and forever. Empirical evidence be damned!

I dunno, I can't trust a guy with no avatar.

No, but give us reasons why you feel like that. After all, this is a hockey forum, so opinions are welcome, but not without backing them up.

If the Sens get good performances out of Anderson, Greening, and Kuba, they can win a series.

Imagine of Spezza gets hot again.

I predict that Spezza will be a monster in these playoffs. BTW, McGuire said this morning that Boston would be in trouble playing Ottawa in the 1st round; especially if they don't get some of their injured players back. Said Ottawa had a legitimate chance.

It will be interesting to see Turris in the post season. He was a beast for Phoenix when they made it in... having him step it up in the post season for the Sens would be awesome and go a long way to getting our secondary scoring going in the post season.

BOS has looked pretty average over the last month or two. They are the Stanley Cup champs, so you have to give them the benefit of the doubt that they have another gear or two for the post-season, but they're not going to go far if they play in the playoffs like they've been playing these last few months.

I would still rather play anyone other than BOS or PIT, but I think OTT has a shot at beating anyone in the East. However it goes, you have to think that OTT gives their opponent(s) a hard-fought series, that's for sure.

Exactly. Teams should want to avoid us like the plague in round 1. We may not win, but damn we're gonna give people a rough time.

For the record, I refuse to vote in this poll. Bad karma.

Kyle Turris post-season stats: 1 goal, 2 assists in a sweep.
Peter Regin post-season stats: 3 goals, 1 assist in a 6-game loss.

I don't know if #beastmode can be determined from such a small sample size.

Their vets have to step it up, for sure. Lucic, Krejci and Seguin all have 9 points in March (7 games), but Peverley has 1 goal and 3 assists over the same period, Bergeron has 3 assists, Marchand has 2, and Kelly and Rolston 1 each. One line team heading into the post-season with a goalie on a cold streak and no backup. Could be disastrous.
