Mendes: Jim O'Brien will come back into the lineup tonight for Zenon Konopka. Only change to Sens lineup.

That is incredible. All the people who were saying negative things about the Anderson signing (don't know why) have been proven dead wrong now. It also (obviously) is a testament to how well Kuba has played this year. Why have we not re-signed him yet...why...

Karlsson needs no more words right now. Spectacular hockey player.

It actually proves that +/- is a useless stat more than anything else. Not sure how that has anything to do with the Anderson signing given his mediocre stats.

Anderson has 29 wins and a SV% of .913. .913 is within spitting distance of Miller (.914) and Fleury (.915). And given how bad it was through December (when he had surgery to remove the stye on his eye) I would have to think he's been among the top-25% of the starters in the new year.

I'm not sure "mediocre" fits all that well.

Two. Definitely.

Anyone notice how the over/under for this game is 5 instead of the typical 5.5? With Biron and Bishop in goal, might be a safe bet to take the over.

This calls for a two-hander to the throat of an important Rags player...

Yeah, it all seemed to coincide with that stye being removed. Interesting...

As I said before, it's one thing to hit .913 but it's a pretty big deal to have gotten there from a turrible sub-900 start.

Matrix 's stats took a beating early in the year when the defense was absolutely terrible (the Rundblad era, although not ALL his fault). Slagging Matrix is just ignorant.

The Sens have to get more shots on the goalie.. too many wide and high.

Bishop has to be better than his first game the other night. Should be a bit more comfortable tonight..

He was said to be the best goaltender not in the NHL ... so tonight he gets his chance to prove that and help get the Sens 2 much needed pts.

Yeah, that was before he was in the NHL. Now he is definitely not the best goaltender not in the NHL. First home game. Not sure how comfortable he'll be. Other than better aim, the Sens really need to get in the way of more shots.

No excuses....they gotta win tonight especially with Phillips still playing. Anything less than 2 points is disappointing.

A better showing by Bishop would be nice too.
