Not with The Nasher reportedly on the block.

The Rags have offered up Dubinsky, Kreider and a 1st says 2GOR, obviously originating elsewhere.

Holy lord, that's a decent return right there. Hard to imagine you could do too much better than that.
The Sens owe it to themselves to kick the tires on this one. I've never loved Nash's game and his inability to rise to big game situations, but with Jason Spezza and Milan Michalek...he could be deadly here.
Zibanejad + 1st + Wiercioch is all I can imagine paying personally, doubt that gets it done.

That would certainly not get it done. I'm guessing that any potential deal for Nash would have to include a good roster player in addition to picks/prospects. Hard to say who we could give up off the roster…maybe Cowen? But then that leaves us short on D.
Maybe if the deal were two first rounders, Z-Bad and Lehner? Just throwing something out there.
Really, I don't think there's any chance Nash would wind up here, but Columbus and Ottawa do like trading with each other!!
Edit: Per Dreger: To consider trading Nash, CBJ will insist on young roster players as prominent pieces of a deal. Location determined by Nash.

I vote for Parise.

I happen to really dig Michalek but I'm not sure that move would bother me too much. Let's look at the Rags supposed offer though: Dubinsky, Kreider, 1st...
Foligno, Zibaneblad, 1st... not far off, I'd say.
Edit: OK, I see that young Riprock agrees with me, as usual.

Problem is, while I absolutely love Nash, trading 9MM for Nash is almost a lateral move, and as good as he is and can be on a good team, you'd probably want to add Nash on top of the top 6 you already have, not subtract.
And yeah it would be ridiculous if the Sens could trade for Nash AND sign Parise July 1. Not sure they'd have much cap room to do that (and re-sign Karlsson), but wow...
