skated yes, hockey no - only as a young kid. And I do not act like I have and know all the nuances and technique of the game.

Kind of an ugly game all around last night. Both goalie played well though.

C'mon Flipper you were saying the Sens are a playoff team, now they're gonna be last.

In NEELY's defense, a lot of things have changed since that bold prediction. Like the Sens actually playing 6 games.

That said, early in the season someone ridiculed me for suggesting that they could be in the playoffs. I believe they said something along the lines of, which two teams out of Boston, Buffalo, Montreal and Toronto will we finish ahead of, because there's no way more than 3 NE teams make it in (and even 3 is not a given).

Well, we're ahead of Montreal, and just 2 behind Boston, and we all know what's about to happen to Toronto.

Dare to dream! Buckle up!

When did I state they were a playoff team...? Please find me the entire quote. I know you enjoy making things up.

I will gladly when I have the time. You have said it many times. You said nothing separates them from Montreal, Toronto, Buffalo etc. and they will be in the mix all year if they have goaltending.

Nope, act like a troll though.

Anyways, get busy and go find me the quote where I stated they are a playoff team please. Don't use quotations this time either... you love correcting people on spelling and grammar so I figured I would do ask my in terms of how to use punctuation.

For the record, on a hockey blog, I would rather know what I am talking about than correct people's spelling. I'm sure you would correct Jaques Demers, eh.

Pretty sure I said "what seperates them from Toronto and Montreal?". The answer is not a whole lot, where in Montreal right now vs Ottawa? Toronto finally plays a team with some structure and talent, they get blown out of the water.

I'll say it now for the record, not a lot seperates Montreal, Toronto, and Ottawa as a whole.

I'll dig up the quotes in due time.

And unless you have a learning disability then I do not know why you are comparing yourself to Demers lol.

Ok I don't know how I'm gonna find your old posts so you own for now.

If I find it I will post. For now, I am wrong and I am not a man.

Of course, if you were watching the game on TV, you wouldn't have known this until the puck was cleared to Winnipeg's end and you saw the net was empty, because Dean and Denis were oblivious.

I would just like to reiterate that Denis Potvin is the worst colour commentator.

Dean Brown is one of the worst broadcasters in the game.

They're pretty much all windbags. I personally can't stand "Doc" Emrick (supposed to be soooooooo good) and Chico Resch.

Take a gander at these ones, from earlier in the year (training camp):

The guy has taken his game to the next level. His game will be that of a leader, less points though. The Spezza from last year and seemingly right now is the Spezza I've always talked about, the Spezza everyone always needed.

The Sens are going to be such a tough team to play against every single night. There will be nights where teams like Florida, Montreal, NYR, and some others will just not want to compete.

Smith, Neil, Greening, Konopka, Carkner, Cowen, Winchester, those guys are goign to ware teams down in a big way.

I'd find more but I'm actually working now.

Look in the locked TidBits threads -- there are many of them, and the latest one only is only about a week old.

At the end of last year, Spezza was lights out. Again, it's about the present and seemingly he has reverted back.

The other comment I still stand by.

I do remember a post of yours now. "If Anderson starts 70 games, the Sens make the playoffs".

The Spezza comment was from about 5 weeks ago. Granted, things change. The point is that you tend to use hyperbole a lot -- you hyperbolize things Smile
