Game Day - Winnipeg @ Ottawa, 7:30PM, Thursday, October 20, 2011

Gonchar and Anderson both expected to play.

Hopefully the Sens can capitalize on a tired team that's travelling and playing the second half of a back-to-backā€¦or at least, that worked out last time, right? The Jets played to a hard fought 4-3 shootout loss to the Leafs last night.

Fun stat of the day (from Mendes): The Sens have played 365 mins of hockey this season and have had the lead in a game for a total of 2:59.

Projected lines from practice this AM:

Forwards:
Foligno-Regin-Alfredsson
Greening-Spezza-Michalek
Winchester -Da Costa-Condra
Smith-Zibanejad-Neil

Defence:
Phillips - Rundblad
Kuba - Karlsson
Cowen - Gonchar

Goaltenders:
Anderson
Auld

Winnipeg Lines (as they were last night):

Forwards
Ladd - Little - Wheeler
Birmistrov - Antropov - Wellwood
Kane - Scheifele - MacLean
Glass - Slater - Thorburn

Defence
Byfuglien - Enstrom
Bogosian - Stuart
Meech - Oduya

Goaltenders
Pavelec
Mason

Well, they should win tonight but we'll see.

I'll just rehash the same crap. The Sens best players need to be their best players and Anderson needs to play well.

Winnipeg is a young team looking to make a mark.

Hopefully Zibanejad pots his first.

etc etc.

Updated...but I have no idea where that leaves Da Costa...

They need to keep trying different combo's, seeing what works, so on. People better get used to this line shuffling.

Naw they shouldn't be tweaiking these two lines. They work, and they work well.

Michalek-Spezza-Alfredsson
Foligno-Regin-Neil

Agreed. + Zibanejad should be working things out on the 3rd line for a while.

Spezza and anyone hasn't been working.

The only reason they won a game and were close in the Caps game is because oe Neil/Regin/Foligno, that's it. That's the only line that has shown they have chemsitry.

I don't mind him on the 3rd line if he is getting lots of ice time and PP time. The Sens should be as close to rolling 4 lines as possible. I'd like Z-Bad to get a minimum of 15 mins per game.

Michalek-Spezza-Alfredsson has been the only line that has produced offense consistently. The coach said it works and that they can put them out whenever they want to produce some offense. Not really sure what you mean, they have chemistry and have shown it.

If you mean for the next 3 games, sure.
