Holy anger managemant Heater...tell Mel to get you a xanax and a glass of water for Christmas...

All kidding aside, my lineup has already been decimated by injuries and under performance.

Brodeur was a nasty, nasty blow to your team. Nabakov will come back soon I think (hope).

Other than that, I looked at your team the other day and it looked pretty solid.

Oooops, you don't have Neil do you?

I am leading the annual pool with my friends... but I have Semin and MacDonald. Ouch for me on MacDonald Sad

They are e-mailed to me every week. At my work e-mail (that's the one I used to send in my picks). If you are receiving these at your webmail address but cannot access that at work, maybe you can ask Heater to change that. If you want daily updates, sorry.

November 27? You sure about that? Do you have the 6/49 numbers for the 26th?

Heh, I was subconsciously trying to skip beyond my wedding anniversary (3rd, today!) ... since I don't know what I am getting her. I think I am going to have to suck it up and buy her the new Canon SD880IS Smile

Yeah, you should all be getting weekly updates. I put your e-mail that you signed in on here as the e-mail it would send it to.

Which is nice, because once a week I get a reminded that both goalies are injured and Aetherial is kicking my arse.

Then, I find out that this Aetherial nerd dude can see into the future by as little as 2 days and at most 2 months - so he knew that my goalies would both get hurt real bad.

All this amounts to a good: squirrel

The traditional 3rd year gift is leather -- get her a nice leather case to go with it.

Brought it home last night... it is very nice. I am going to take a while just to figure out everything it can do. The 3" screen though is beautiful (Canon uses about 2x the pixels as other manufacturers)... and there is a lot of neat stuff you can do right on the camera (like red-eye reduction). The wide-angle lens is a very nice feature also.

270 at Future Shop, not too bad a price really.

Hahah that is too funny...

I did exactly that, and for exactly that reason. She didn't know it was the leather anniversary, so I had to explain it. Funny that you also pay attention to stuff like that Walter.

Trying to find a leather case that would 1) fit, 2) have a spot for extra battery, and 3 - have a belt loop ... was a pain in the Donkey. For some reason Canon doesn't like to have little pouches for batteries. I ended up getting a Lowepro Napoli 20... had the nice suede interior which shouldn't be hard on the camera.

You picked a lot of Leafs. They've one twice int he last 10. I picked a lot of Sens. They've been playing better. The trends will certainly reverse. 46 points sounds like a commanding lead, but with a 20-man roster it can go really, really quickly.

As I said earlier in this thread, I never get too excited about pools until near the end. I have seen WAY too many *commanding* leads get frittered away.

In my other pool, I was up by almost 40. Now it is 14. Suddenly a bunch of guys go cold (Koivu, Dubinsky...) and other guys get in jured (Semin, MacDonald) ... and the whole thing turns around.

... then again, Colaiacovo should at least play in St. Louis once his foot isn't too sore... so that has to be good news for me. Also, Van Ryn will be back at some point and so will Nabakov Smile

All I need is Nabby and Brodeur to come back and I might be able to sprint the final laps and get close.
