I can't find where this quote came from, but it appears Petersson isn't thrilled about playing for Bingo:

One of Ottawa's other Swedish prospects, Andre Petersson, doesn't seem too thrilled about playing in the AHL either. When asked if playing in the AHL will be good for him, he says "I don't know. We'll see about that. I'll take each day as it comes. So I don't know."

Plus SpezD has promised us that Konopka will not spend a single game out of the lineup. Obviously he and SensReporter aren't on the same page.

He won't be scratched IMO, he was brought in at a good price to lead the 4th line. He can win FOs, kill penalties, forecheck like a demon, fight if need be. He's not gonna be a scratch.

I don't think it's that bad. They know who should be on the roster and who shouldn't.

They need practice right now with the trimmed down roster. Everything they do is sloppy (to varying degrees) powerplay, penalty kill etc.

While other teams are still prepping and playing meaningless games we have a week with the final roster for MacLean implement his systems. We'll be rested and prepared for the start of the season.

Wow, Winchester has become an afterthought to everyone including the Sens. There's just no room for him anymore...

I'd love to see Kuba sit all year and bring Boro in for good - love that kid and believe he's absolutely ready for primetime.

Winch is injured... I have not heard any update on his status though...

It was soooo bad wow. These pre-season games don't seem to have done much...I guess I have to reserve judgment until the regular season starts, but damn it was bad. It's going to be a long year full of growing pains, which is what we all expected, but it really opened my eyes to watch these games and to see just how much worse off we are then many teams in the league...for now of course. The future still looks very very bright.

So bad...I agree...we're out of our league if that's how we play.

Meh Kuba. I'm looking forward to his contract being done here, no one will change my mind on that. The faith is gone. I actually liked him before but then he went to Dung.

I watched the Jets vs. Carolina game a few days ago and they were leagues better than us

Unless Borowiecki can play in the NHL, I don't think we can get rid of Kubawful.
