It annoys me that this is such a big deal. They want to generate more revenue by selling Winnepeg Whatever jerseys, but everyone is just gonna wear their Jets jerseys anyway. They'll sell plenty of jerseys, but because of the name on the back, not the name on the front. They should be the Jets, that's it.

Lots of concern from Atlanta fans and Winnipeg fans re: honouring past players (Jets retirees, and Dan Snyder). New Winnipeg/Manitoba franchise would like to honour these players, but not sure they want to retire #'s. Evander Kane wears #9 and would probably want to continue to wear it, despite Bobby Hull having wore it and the Jets retired it.
