BBQ joints were one thing Ottawa was lacking, and I think there is still room. I dunno about the east end of the city, but Nepean/Kanata/Stittsville could still use more.

Who doesn't love BBQ? If Ottawa can sustain all those microbreweries I'm sure it can sustain a few more BBQs!

The Smoque Shack's BBQ sauce they used on the brisket was amazing. Think it had some coffee in it, among other things.

It's downtown on York street. Well worth a trip down there if you're a fan of meaty goodness. They even have a vegetarian option (smoked tofu, something something). It was really yummy. They had a good beer selection too.

Lamb is a delicious meat, made even tastier by the fact that you know it comes from a cute little animal.

Like all other meats, if it's not over-cooked, it is very yummy.

Look good. Resist the temptation to cook them any longer than specified. Lamb is very easy to overcook.
