I've gotten hooked on Shawarma's again, I've been going 2-3 times to Shawarma Prince in Kanata after work, mostly due to the pregnant hormonal wife living with me

Best Shawarma in the City is Shawarma Palace on Rideau. There is always a line up though. But man is it ever amazing. Not great as a drunk shawarma, since when you're drunk you want grease and garlic; this place has an amazing clean shawarma that doesn't make you feel like dung afterward.

Most shawarma places you can just ask for hot sauce on it. But there is this one place in Downtown Ottawa called Castle Shawarma, on Rideau, right near Dalhousie st, that has 3 different kinds of garlic sauce: Spicy Garlic, Garlic Oregano, and Original Garlic. It's good, but really greasy.

Pita Nutso was ... "not so" spectacular. It was average. Still not as good as Villa Madina, which can't compare to the bottom of the pack in Ottawa.

Guava Shawarma in B-haven also has the Spicy Garlic sauce. They have the Shawarma Salad which is everything you could want on a Shawarma but served over lettuce and drizzled in either a creamy garlic or oil and garlic dressing.
